I have been interested in food, nutrition, health, and fitness for as long as I can remember. Eating whole foods is important when following a healthy lifestyle. I believe that food can be used in disease prevention. All foods can fit in; it is just a matter of portion sizes and moderation. There are practical ways that nutrition can be applied to our different lifestyles. Diets are not one size fits all. Meal plans need to be individualized with realistic goals. Knowledge is important but actions speak louder than words. I enjoy providing tools and examples needed to adopt healthy eating habits. I have the knowledge to give.
