| Pre/Post Natal Training (Individual Session) |
| |
| Pre-natal exercise is designed to promote good posture and spinal alignment, easing the strain and tensions involved with a changing body during pregnancy. Participants will learn to improve awareness of their bodies and prepare for the labor and delivery of their child. Additional benefits of exercise during pregnancy include reducing weight gain during pregnancy and after giving birth, improved sleep patterns and mood, a more comfortable labor, and alleviated back pain. Maintenance, not improvement of fitness levels, is the focus of exercise during this tender stage. Intensity of exercise, environment, and type of exercise are carefully considered in relation to the safety of the child's development. |
