Class schedule is determined on survey results. The survey was available to participants from September 2007-May 2008. Although we will hold a class even if one person attends, the class will be removed from the schedule if it has consistent low participation (2 or less participants) for 3 weeks. We will reevaluate the schedule monthly and email all participants with any updates. |

| Sunrise Yoga: |
Lengthening and extending the spine through a series of Hatha Yoga poses will allow you to start your morning with balance while connecting the breath, the
mind, and the body. The tranquility of the beach setting will help you escape from the city. if just for a moment.

| Sunset Yoga: |
Release from your day with a restorative Hatha Yoga class that will focus on
winding down while uniting the mind and body through breath and movement.
Experience your practice while enjoying the nature of the beach setting.

| Beach Buns & Guns: |
A total body conditioning class that emphasizes on building strength, toning
muscle, and developing the best buns and guns on the beach!

| Sand Blast Abs: |
The core muscles are defined as "every muscle connected to the spine." In this
class you'll develop chiseled abs, a sexy back, and killer hips. Your Sand Blast Abs
will sizzle this summer! |

How to Purchase
Where to Meet
- Please arrive to class approximately 5-minutes prior to the start time. You will find the instructor wearing an Escape 2 Fitness shirt standing near the Escape 2 Fitness sign that is posted at the beach.
- Ohio Beach classes will take place on the Far East end of the beach on the sand, close to the shoreline. This is the end of the beach, furthest away from Lake Shore Drive.
- Oak Street Beach classes will take place on the concrete adjacent to the restaurant, Oak Street Beachstro.
- If no participants are present at the beginning of class start time, the instructor will wait for 15-minutes in chance of late arrivals. Class will still take place even if there is just one participant.
Who Can Participant
- All participants must sign an Escape 2 Fitness waiver prior to their first class.
- All participants must be at least 18 years old.
- All fitness and yoga levels are welcome. Instructors and trainers will offer modifications for different levels.
What to Bring
- Please bring a large beach towel, sheet, or mat to class. It is your preference. Often yoga participants bring both a towel and a mat. We recommend having a “beach” mat that can get sandy and a separate mat for the studio.
- Please bring a water bottle (or two), sun block, and sunglasses.
What to Wear
- Wear comfortable, workout gear. Layers are recommended. Wear supportive running or cross-training shoes for the fitness classes. Yoga classes are done barefoot.
When It Rains & When It's Cold
- If it rains within 30-minutes of class-start time, the class will be cancelled. For example, if it rains between 6:00-6:29pm, the 6:30pm class will be cancelled. If it rains at 5:45pm and stops raining at 5:59pm, the 6:30pm class will take place. We do not have a weather phone line to call. Our office is closed at 6:00pm. This is the BEST policy we can come up with to avoid confusion.
- Class is cancelled if the temperature is below 55°C
When the Schedule Changes
- In order for a class to remain on the schedule, it must consistently have 3 or more participants. Schedules will be reevaluated monthly. All participants with passes will be notified via email with any schedule changes. To assure you are receiving schedule updates, please provide us with your email address on the far right hand lower box that states ”Receive Health & Wellness Tips.”
- If you would like to request a class be placed on the schedule, please email contactus@escape2fitness.com. Please specify the beach, class type, and time. Please note, last summer, Ohio Beach’s environment was not conducive for conducting classes in the evening, so we have chosen to not host classes in the evenings at that beach in 2008.
