| Pilates Mat Training is an intense and challenging workout, concentrating on the "core" or "power center" of the body. The exercises performed are designed to create strong, lean, and flexible muscles. By focusing on the core, Pilates strengthens and tightens the "power center" from which all movement originates. Having a stronger core helps with balance, posture, and other everyday events. Pilates offers benefits not found in traditional strength and stretching programs. |
