Philosophy

I began practicing yoga during my freshman year of college.  I realized that for me, it was the perfect way to exercise and understand my body, myself.  Since then, I have an undoubted conviction that everyone needs yoga in their lives. I have been practicing yoga for 6 years now and teaching for 1 1/2.  My practice and my classes focus on strength, grace, and detoxifying the body while synchronizing our mind with our movement, breath, and energy.   My class tends to be a continuous flow of movement that can be practiced at all levels.  Of course finding comfort in your body, and peace of mind are primary concerns of mine as a teacher.  I hope to keep sharing my conception of yoga while continuing to learn and experience it for myself.
